DISPLAY RULES

HOW A VALUE IS HANDLED.

Original timestamps

Provider source time and local receive time are stored and displayed exactly as observed. A cache read never refreshes either one.

Unverifiable is not current

A provider timestamp that cannot be reconciled is reported as unverified, not as live and not as stale.

No fixture fallback

A missing key, malformed payload, rate limit or outage produces an explicit unavailable state with a reason code.

Separate classes

Live account, market data, practice and backtest values are never merged into one unmarked series or count.
